Behind the Signs at Insignia Designs: Meet Jax! Public Relations Mascot
Quote my Project! He’s a brown-haired, brown-eyed, gentle and older gent who makes friends wherever he goes. Luckily for us, he’s Insignia Designs’ Public Relations Mascot, Jax!
Thirteen years ago, the Moberg family decided to adopt a dog. In particular, they wanted a medium-sized, athletic canine who could go on family hikes and was good with children.
Carol found a litter of mix-breed puppies online and she took Kayla and Parker to Fresno to check them out. Jax immediately stood out from the crowd of siblings: he was hopping around everywhere, and with that kind of personality, she knew he’d fit right into their family.
Today, Jax remains one of the most unique dogs Todd has ever met. He is part basenji/ chow/shepherd, and when he was young, he was a runner, sprinter, jumper and hopper. Even with all that energy, he was shy by nature and he took time to warm up to strangers.
Jax has been a fixture at the business since the first day, and while he’s still a shy guy, and moves a bit slower than he used to, he still draws everyone’s attention. He knows every neighbor in the business area and each has their own custom treats for him. He knows their cars, too, and makes his way to their stores to greet them when they arrive. Even the delivery guys leave treats for Jax when they drop off boxes.
When not making his rounds trolling for treats, Jax lays on his bed under Todd’s desk, or can be found outside in the shade or sun.
Jax is a key part of the team. Come by and say hello next time you’re in the neighborhood. He’ll be shy at first, but if you bring a few treats, he may just surprise you!
