This lobby sign is constructed using a 3/8″ thick piece of acrylic, cut to a size of 24″ tall x 48″ wide. The acrylic is then covered with a layer of etched vinyl film on the backside to provide dimension. Finally, a digitally printed logo and lettering are added to the top  first surface of the acrylic sign. The combination of adding the etched or frosted vinyl on the back of the acrylic panel and then putting the printed logo on the first surface gives the appearance that the letters and logo are floating on the lobby sign.  The completed sign is then mounted to the client’s indoor wall using stand-off hardware in brushed aluminum.
