Client Bio: Gatan has spent the last 50 years working with their customers to push the boundaries of what can be done with electron microscopy. With state of the art cameras, imaging energy filters, specimen preparation equipment and other EM products and solutions, they take the most powerful microscopy on earth and make it work even harder for you.

Gatan, Inc. is a member of the Medical and Scientific Imaging segment of Roper Industries, Inc. Roper Industries, Inc. is a diversified technology company and a constituent of the S&P 500, Fortune 1000, and the Russell 1000 indices. Roper provides engineered products and solutions for global niche markets, including water, energy, transportation, medical, education, and SaaS-based information networks.

The local Pleasanton office of Gatan, Inc. was referred to us to help them with their rebranding. As part of the Hacienda Business Park, it was important to have quality, visible signage. Of particular concern to the client were the color specifications. Insignia Designs was able to meet all of their objectives.

There were many outdoor signs that needed to re-done with the new logo. The building sign was made of 3″deep painted aluminum channel letters and log. With the logo measuring 59″ x59” and the company name 24” x 67”, Gatan’s customers could easily find their building. Additionally, 2 monument signs had to be refurbished. Insignia Designs repainted the monuments and installed ½ thick painted acrylic logo and letters.

Door graphics were installed to identify the office space. With the large number of employees, Gatan utilizes Parking Lot Signs as meeting points in case of an emergency.

A satellite office in Warrendale, PA required new signs as well. Insignia Designs coordinated with an installer who was able to install the signs we supplied. Theirs included a Way finding Sign as well as Van Graphics.
